ERP : 

Singapore is a small island. They have scarcity of land. They can't keep on widening the roads. They have excellent traffic management. They use Electronic Road Pricing to control traffic.

Flyovers have failed to control traffic in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Beijing and all major cities of Asia. They provide temporary relief for traffic congestion. 

Beijing has 6 ring roads and Excellent metro but still people use cars. Due to cars there is so much pollution that we cannot see beyond 200m. Our Indian cities are heading there.

We need  a more mature and sensible approach. ERP has worked in small island and we need a similar approach to control private vehicles.

We need such systems in place else all our cities would be full of pollution. We know temperatures have been rising summer after summer.
